At HomeHNI (https://homehni.ae/), you have the right to request deletion of your account and the personal information we hold about you. This page explains the process, implications, and how to submit a verified deletion request.
⚠️ Irreversible action
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all service history, active bookings, quotes, and any loyalty program data associated with your profile.
What happens when you delete your account?
Upon successful deletion of your HomeHNI account:
- Your personal profile (name, email, phone number, saved addresses) will be permanently removed from our active systems.
- You will no longer receive service updates, promotional emails, or appointment reminders.
- Any active or upcoming service bookings will be automatically canceled. For any paid but unfulfilled services, our team will process a refund according to our refund policy.
- Your service history, invoices, and chat transcripts will be anonymized or deleted, except where we are legally required to retain records (see below).
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use HomeHNI services in the future.
Data we may retain after deletion
Due to legal, regulatory, and legitimate business obligations, certain information may be retained even after your account deletion request is fulfilled:
- Transactional records: Invoices, payment receipts, and service records may be kept for up to 5 years as required by UAE tax laws (Federal Tax Authority) and consumer protection regulations.
- Fraud prevention: If you were involved in any dispute, chargeback, or fraudulent activity, relevant data may be retained for legal defense.
- Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-personally identifiable usage data may be retained for business analysis.
- Communication logs: Email or chat correspondence related to unresolved complaints may be kept until the matter is closed.
Any retained data will no longer be actively used for marketing or operational purposes and will be protected under our Privacy Policy.
📌 Important note for users with active services
If you have an ongoing or scheduled service, your account deletion request will be processed only after the service is completed and any applicable warranty or refund period has ended (typically 30 days). You may cancel pending services before requesting deletion.
How to request account deletion
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion, we require a verified request. You can initiate account deletion using any of the following methods:
- Option 1: Submit the form below on this page.
- Option 2: Send an email to contact@homehni.com with the subject line "ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST" and include your registered email and phone number.
- Option 3: Call our support at +971 50 112 8755 (8 AM – 8 PM, Mon–Sat, UAE time) and request account deletion. Identity verification will be performed.
Once we receive your request, we will send a confirmation email to your registered address. You must confirm your intent within 48 hours. After confirmation, account deletion will be processed within 14 business days. You will receive a final notification once the deletion is complete.

Verification process
To prevent fraudulent deletion requests, HomeHNI will verify your identity using at least one of the following methods:
- Sending a one-time PIN (OTP) to your registered phone number or email.
- Asking you to reply from your registered email address.
- Requesting a copy of your Emirates ID (masked, for verification only) if there is a dispute.
If we cannot verify your identity, we will notify you and the deletion request will not be processed until successful verification.
Withdrawing a deletion request
If you change your mind before the deletion is finalized, you can cancel the request by emailing privacy@homehni.ae with "CANCEL DELETION REQUEST" in the subject line. Once the deletion is complete (you receive a final confirmation email), cancellation is no longer possible and your data cannot be recovered.
Deletion for users outside the UAE
If you are located outside the United Arab Emirates, your account deletion rights are still honored under applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR for EU residents). We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to the same retention exceptions described above (legal/tax requirements).
